Neurovascular and Peripheral Interventional Radiologist

Dr. Spinos pioneered interventional radiology in the city of Richmond and has been consistently named one of the area’s “Top Doctors” for more than 20 years. Board certified in both diagnostic radiology and vascular and interventional radiology, Dr. Spinos’s primary focus is neurointerventional radiology, specializing in neurovascular and peripheral vascular interventions with a special focus on embolization procedures.

He is a senior member of the Society of Neurointerventional Surgery and a member of the American College of Radiology, the Society of Interventional Radiology, the American Society of Neuroradiology, and the Virginia Radiologic Society. Dr. Spinos has written several scientific papers, given numerous scientific and community lectures, and is a reviewer for the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology. His post-medical school education includes a residency in diagnostic radiology and a fellowship in neuroradiology.

In his downtime, Dr. Spinos enjoys traveling, photography, and racquetball.
